Defer specific CSS file and execute after page load#94

?

Some CSS files auto load for every page such as star rating. GDPR consent plugin also preloads CSS. These css files result in render blocking in page speed tests. I think we should be able to put non critical css to execute at the end no matter preloaded or not.
Here is a good explanation and a solution: https://web.dev/defer-non-critical-css/

… “Optimize CSS delivery” and “Remove unused CSS” of wp-rocket options break the site, because there is a conflict with the theme which has its own performance tweaks.

Your CSS files are already defered and loaded after the page has been loaded if you use Load CSS Async option (in 3.10).

because there is a conflict with the theme which has its own performance tweaks.

It’s in your interest to disable the performance tweaks of your theme to avoid any conflicts.

There is nothing better than Remove Unused CSS to optimize your CSS.
